Paid Media Specialist Department: Digital Strategy Reports Directly to: Director of Digital Strategy Posting Date: September 24, 2018 Job Summary: As the Paid Media Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of executing paid media campaigns, including search, social, and video advertising, for Falls Digital clients and the agency. In this position, you will manage paid media budgets, campaign implementation, monitoring, optimizing, analysis and reporting for all managed paid media accounts. You will work closely with the digital strategy and technology teams to integrate advertising campaigns holistically across all client channels to ensure paid media programs fulfill client expectations and objectives. You will work with the development team to install tracking code and confirm reporting is set up properly for each client website. You will also work closely with the business development and agency marketing staff to support the agency’s new business initiatives, including estimating and proposal content creation as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day execution, bid management, targeting and keyword optimization of ongoing paid media campaigns for clients and the agency. Creation of effective, targeted and relevant direct response ad copy. Analyze performance data to provide relevant reporting metrics and appropriate recommended action plans. Communicate with account service team and clients on all elements of the campaign, including performance, project status and client goals. Actively manage and monitor digital media paid search campaigns and paid social campaigns to the clients’ weekly and monthly budget goals. Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in the management of online paid media. Assist in development of digital media paid search plans and building effective relationships with vendors. Report agency’s paid media performance to senior management team on a weekly or monthly basis. Assist in the scoping and development of proposals and workable budgets. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Proven ability to manage small, medium and large paid media budgets. Skilled in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, including display, retargeting/remarketing, negative keyword additions, bid monitoring and the day-to-day adjustments of paid media campaigns. Capable of executing advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media channels as required. Ability to recommend media spend and campaign type based on the client’s business objectives. Solid business acumen and the ability to adapt to unique business models and customer expectations. Passionate self-starter and independent problem solver. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Credentials & Experience: BA, BS or equivalent work experience 1-2 years of experience managing paid media for clients Google AdWords Certification required Bing Ads Accredited Professional preferred, but not required Agency experience preferred, but not required
