Description:

The Digital Content Strategist is a key role at Relequint, managing content writers and

creating and adhering to editorial calendars for complex B2B accounts involving digital inbound

marketing campaigns, blogging, social media and websites for healthcare, tech and manufacturing clients.

This role supervises the day-to-day completion of blog and social media posts by a team of

freelance content writers and creates monthly/quarterly editorial calendars that reflect campaign

goals for each client.

The Digital Content Strategist works under supervision of the Director, Digital

Marketing for adherence to client personas and campaign goals, as well as overall work

performance. This role interfaces with content writers, production specialists and social media

managers within the team with moderate latitude and uses personal initiative and independent

judgment to ensure content is delivered to the client on time and free from mistakes.

Responsibilities:

● Build and manage editorial calendars that attract a qualified audience to client websites

(including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, e mails, research, infographics, etc.) and

direct the flow of content around each campaign

● Stay up -to- date with client industry trends, content performance metrics and customer

challenges in order to build more effective editorial calendars

● Determine sources for content creation and create network of freelancers able to

handle the demands of each client’s editorial calendar

● Independently manage freelance writers, writing services and your own schedule to

ensure content is written, proofed and ready for client approval according to dates set

out in the editorial calendar

● Serve as an exemplary writer and editor, writing clean, concise, well-polished copy and

making sure that all copy produced by your team meets these same standards

● Develop creative briefs and necessary buyer personas for each client account assigned

● Participate in planning, development and production of all content for assigned clients

● Interface with Director, Project Relevance on deadlines and project status to keep entire

team on track, making certain content is on time and properly executed

● Create and maintain playbook documentation of current technologies and methods to

perform job functions

Requirements:

● BA/BS English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience

● 3-5 years’ experience creating and managing editorial calendars for a media publication

or marketing team preferred

● Aptitude for managing a team of writers and/or resources to execute within deadlines

● Problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency

● Ability to produce flawless work within deadlines

● Excellent attention to detail both for line editing copy and consistency in style and tone

across customer content

● HubSpot Certification in Inbound Marketing - If not already, this must be obtained at the

beginning of employment

● Completion of other HubSpot certifications as deemed necessary

● Ability to follow Relequint documentation, storage and maintenance procedures
